Public Tasting 2012

The public tasting for 2011 was sponsored by Luigi Bormioli glassware – and was an outstanding success. Around 140 participants and stewards enjoyed the opportunity to taste 600+ wines – responsibly and in a controlled environment – and take away a complimentary Luigi Bormioli wine glass.The public tasting for 2012 is currently in the planning process.

Tutored Trade Tasting

An invitation only tutored trade tasting will again be held for sommeliers, wine buyers and vignerons, at the Mornington Racing Club, to promote cool climate wines to the industry.

Cool Climate Classic Lunches

Over 100 people booked for the 2011 Cool Climate Classic Lunch – a choice of high quality restaurants around the Peninsula with locally inspired dishes. For information on the 2012 lunches go to: www.classiclunches.com.au  

Awards Presentation Dinner 2012

The Awards Presentation Dinner sponsored by Federal Group, in conjunction with Peninsula Bulk Meats and Ingham, will again be presented to 250 diners by Wise Choice with a menu showcasing Peninsula produce to be held @ the Mornington Racecourse on Friday 1st June 2012.

36 Gold, 92 Silver and 230 Bronze medals were awarded at this year’s show out of 678 entries – 53% of entries won medals. Click here for a list of Medal Winners.
